It never, ever gets old for me.
I find it bizarre that any adult would be unable to at least follow a recipe. Fortunately I married someone who is perfectly competent at any household task.

I sometimes joke that I knew my partner and I were destined to live together because of his amazing spaghetti sauce. (Some days, I am not joking when I say this: it really is fantastic!)
jaqbuncad: CJ’s specialities are lasagna (yes!) and various stir frys.
I believe that apron qualifies as a form of spousal abuse…
Ben, that apron is my fault. I’m hardly a spouse.
Ben and W: CJ mentioned to W that he wanted an apron, and he loves it now he has it. It would never have occurred to me. Cj may wear the pants, but he wears the apron too.
